About Us

A shop built on curiosity, run with care.

Hunters & Treasures lives on East State Street in the heart of Black Mountain — a town that has always valued craftsmanship, community, and the kind of places you can wander through without rushing. We've been part of that fabric for over a decade, sourcing and curating antiques, vintage furnishings, and collectibles that would look right at home in a historic home or a modern loft.

Every item in our shop was chosen with an eye toward quality and character. We buy from estate sales, auctions, and private collectors across the region, and we price fairly because we want these pieces to go to people who'll actually use and enjoy them — not just store them away.

Curated Selection Nothing on our floor is there by accident.
Flexible Sourcing We'll hunt for a specific piece if you tell us what you're after.
Local & Approachable No pressure, no pretense — just honest conversations about objects with history.

What We Do

Antiques, collectibles, and everything in between.

Our inventory shifts constantly, but these are the categories you'll always find us working in.

Antique wooden furniture pieces in a shop setting

Furniture

Dressers, desks, chairs, and case goods from the 1800s through mid-century. Each piece is solid — not the particleboard replacements flooding big-box stores.

Vintage decorative objects and home accents on display

Home Decor & Accents

Mirrors, lamps, textiles, ceramics, and wall art. The kind of objects that make a room feel collected rather than catalogued.

Collection of vintage collectibles and memorabilia

Collectibles

Pottery, glassware, coins, stamps, toys, and regional memorabilia. Whether you're starting a collection or adding to one, we've got pieces worth considering.

Estate sale items and inherited goods being appraised

Consignment & Estate Sales

We buy single items and whole estates. If you have pieces you'd like to pass along — or a house full of history to sort through — give us a call first.
